Leading Edge Flying Club at Cumbernauld airport is a friendly and convenient base for pilots. We have a number of 2 seat and 4 seat aircraft for hire. You can hire by the hour for short trips or for touring by arrangement.
The club offers a whole range of activities:
- Fly-outs: where our members take a number of aircraft to interesting parts of Scotland, for a get-together and bbq. Recent destinations have been Islay and Oban.
- Lectures and social evenings: over the winter and at other times we have a range of guest speakers to talk on topics covering the whole range of flying. These lectures are supported by evening get-togethers and quiz nights.
The clubhouse at Cumbernauld airport has free internet access for pilots to check the latest weather and NOTAMS.
