Trial lessons
Climb into the Captain’s seat and follow your instructor through the pre-flight checks on one of our dual control training aircraft at Scotland’s first purpose built General Aviation Airports. Take off and you’re away on a Flying Start to your Private Pilot’s License.
Your lesson begins with a briefing to describe how an aircraft flies, and the effects of the controls. You then move out to the aircraft and the instructor shows you round the aircraft as he does his walk-round checks. Climb in, strap in, start up and off you go. After take off you will have the opportunity to take control and learn the effects of the controls, and enjoy the scenery. After landing you will have time to ask your instructor any questions about the flight or learning to fly.
The more extensive One Hour Flying Lesson gives you more time to do enjoy a bit of sightseeing around places such as Loch Lomond or the Forth Road Bridge. So take a camera and a pair of sunglasses and remember the extra time will still count towards the minimum 45 hours required for your Private Pilot’s License.
