Inverness

Leading Edge started operating from Inverness in 2009 providing training and hire services for Higland Aero Club.

OPERATIONS

We operate 7 days a week 9am to 5pm.

Arrangements can also be made outside this times at no extra cost. If need be directly with your instructor.

We operate from the HAC premises which have been in their present position next to the North Apron for the last 10yrs, giving an ideal view of Operations of the Airport.

The Aeroclub has established for even longer at Inverenss itself, and some of the instructors have been operating out of Inverness for 20yrs.

FACILITIES

Pilot Briefing/study room, Instructors briefing room, Free Internet access for Weather, other aeronautial information and e-mails etc.

A large lounge with Satilite TV for pilots, families and guests which overlooks the Apron and the Runways in use.

The toilets including disabled facilities.

There is a kitchen for tea and coffee with regular Sunday lunches. (Donations are welcome for both)

INSTRUCTORS

We have a dedicated team of instructors to guide you through your training, they are a mixture of Full and Part time staff.

The team is based locally and is dedicated to providing an excellent standard of training; whether you are simply looking for the freedom of a Private Pilots License or aspire to progress to Commercial Training (we provide this through our sister company at Perth) for a career in aviation.

FI Emma Henderson (ATPL/IR frozen, Instructor PPL, NPPL and night)

FI Mosaab Zubair (ATPL/IR frozen, Instructor PPL, NPPL)

FI  Neil Fallen (ATPL/IR frozen. Restricted FI PPL, NPPL)

also available are Alan Nicholson (Examiner/Insructor, Training Capt. many ratings), Kim Kothan (ATPL/IR frozen, Instructor PPL, NPPL).

All of our instructors are fully qualified.

We aim to encourage a one to one relationship with your instructor, and anticipate him/her gudiing you through your training from start to finnish.

The CFI, as should be expected is available 24/7 to answer any queries  077233 84614.

As is the Requirement and Recommendation of the CAA, our registricted FI's Neil and Kim are always fully supervised by an FI present at the Aeroclub whilst training is undertaken.
