A trial flying lesson can be the first step towards your pilots licence. Leading Edge offer a range of lessons from a brief 20 minute experience flight up to a complete module towards a Private Pilots Licence. 2 seat lessons
We use Cessna 152 and Piper Tomahawk aircraft for our pilot training. The same aircraft are used for our experience flights and count as the first lesson towards a Private Pilots Licence.
Your CAA approved instructor will guide you through the take-off procedures. You will then take control under their guidance and fly the aircraft; learn how to climb, descend, and turn the aircraft before returning to the airport to land under the tuition of your instructor.
4 seat lessons
Upgrade to a larger (and faster) 4 seat aircraft and you will be able to travel further during your lesson. Additionally, you can also take up to 2 friends/family along with you with no further charges.
Aerobatic lessons
An Aerobatics lesson will let you experience flying from a totally different perspective. To get the best of this experience, we suggest you have previously taken one of the standard 2 seat lessons to have a basic understanding of the flying controls.
